Right of withdrawal for consumers

A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor their independent professional activity.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the date of conclusion of the contract.

You do not have a right of withdrawal if you expressly agreed when making your booking that the service should begin before the end of the withdrawal period. By doing so, you have effectively waived your right of withdrawal. We informed you of this before you completed your purchase.

If you expressly agree that Edudemia Europäisches Bildungszentrum will begin providing the service before the end of the statutory withdrawal period and we provide the service in full, your right of withdrawal expires in accordance with Section 356 (4) of the German Civil Code (BGB). This means that once Edudemia has fulfilled the contract in full and you have agreed to immediate performance, you can no longer withdraw from the contract.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Europäisches BildungsZentrum Edudemia GmbH, Große Str. 40, 49477 Ibbenbüren, phone: +495451507530, email: info@edudemia.de) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached sample withdrawal form for this purpose, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse you for all payments we have received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a type of delivery other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without delay and at the latest within fourteen days of the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. We will use the same means of payment for this refund as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no event will you be charged for this refund.
